Need some pointers on building your own home garden? Come learn from two of Coppell’s experienced community garden leaders. They will cover the essentials for DIY raised beds and soil health with a hands on demonstration.

Building beds and amending soil are the essential first steps to a thriving garden. Garden leaders Earl Rodgers and Bob Fleck from Ground Delivery Community Garden will each offer their expertise on the dos and don’ts of raised beds and soil prep. September is the perfect time plan and build your garden from the ground up! Keep Coppell Beautiful will also be offering a class on starting seeds indoors in November so that you can have everything ready to hit the ground running this next planting season.

This class is free with no registration required. The Biodiversity Education Center (BEC) is a short walk from the parking lot of Wagon Wheel Park. Follow green signs to the BEC.
