As of the end of October, 2021, the Coppell Community Garden Program surpassed a cumulative total of 300,000 pounds of donations of fresh, organic vegetables to the Metrocrest Services food pantry in Carrollton, Texas. The volunteer program was begun in 1998 and now has three gardens in Coppell.

The program began with gardens next to the Coppell Town Center and the Coppell Post Office. The program surpassed 100,000 pounds of donations in 2009 in its eleventh year.
